Men may be underestimating how much their significant other is thinking about their footwear. According to a survey from shoemakers Allen Edmonds, 52 percent of women say a man's shoes reflect his personality. Sixty-four percent of women say his choice of shoes reflects on his fashion sense and 36 percent say it reflects on his financial position. Sixty-five percent of women say they'd have to insist their partner change his shoes before going out together. Twelve percent have even admitted to throwing out pairs they didn't like. As for men, they aren't entirely clueless about how their footwear is being perceived. Almost half say they put thought into their shoe selection before going on dates.
