Tina Fey is deflating fans' hopes of someday seeing her host the Oscars. The "30 Rock" and "Saturday Night Live" alum says it's not happening. Responding to the suggestion in an interview with "The Huffington Post," Fey referred to the shout out William Shatner gave her and her Golden Globes co-host Amy Poehler during his exchange with Oscar host Seth MacFarlane on Sunday night's Academy Awards. She said while it was an honor to be "Shatnered" during the ceremony, she feels hosting the Oscars is a tough gig, adding, "Especially for a woman - the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone - no way."
Fey and Poehler got rave reviews for their co-hosting of the Golden Globe Awards in January. Fey recently wrapped her NBC comedy "30 Rock" and is now making the rounds promoting her upcoming new movie "Admission" with Paul Rudd. The university-set comedy is due out March 22nd.
