>EX-SEAL Forced To Give Up On Pull-Up Record Attempt
David Goggins spent hours and hours doing pull-ups yesterday in an attempt to break a world record, only to be stopped in his tracks by an injury.
Goggins says the injury was due to the type of pull-up bar he was using. He was hoping to break the world record for the most pull-ups in a 24-hour period. Goggins began his world record quest yesterday morning on NBC's "Today" show to help raise money for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Foundation supports families of injured Special Operations personnel from the U.S. Armed Forces. Goggins is a former Navy SEAL who now competes in Ironman competitions.
David Goggins says his injury appears to have been caused by the type of equipment he was using.
