TWO PEOPLE FROM CAMBRIA COUNTY WERE SERIOUSLY HURT WHEN THEIR MOTORCYCLE CRASHED IN EAST FREEDOM, BLAIR COUNTY.   POLICE SAY 49 YEAR OLD DAVID POLLINO LOST CONTROL OF HIS BIKE AND CRASHED INTO A DITCH.   HE IS IN SERIOUS BUT STABLE CONDITION.  A PASSENGER, 40 YEAR OLD KIMBERLY HULINA IS LISTED IN FAIR CONDITION. NETHER WAS WEARING A HELMET.

23 YEAR OLD PAUL TAYLOR OF MINERAL POINT DIED SATURDAY NIGHT WHEN HIS ATV WENT OVER A BRIDGE ALONG AN ABANDONED RAILWAY NEAR WILLIAMS RUN CREEK NEAR REVLOC IN CAMBRIA TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY.  A PASSENGER, 22 YEAR OLD BRIANNA FOX OF JOHNSTOWN RECEIVED MODERATE INJURIES.  AUTHORITIES SAY TAYLOR TRIED TO CROSS AN ABANDONED BRIDGE, BUT THE ATV STRUCK A HOLE IN THE BRIDGE AND THAT CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO FALL THROUGH.  NEITHER TAYLOR NOR FOX WERE WEARING HELMETS.

A MAN FROM VIRGINIA … WILLIAM CLARK THE THIRD … CRASHED HIS MOTORCYCLE IN CLEARFIELD COUNTY.  HE WAS RIDING ON ROUTE 219 ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON IN BURNSIDE TOWNSHIP. HE HIT A GUARDRAIL ON A TURN AND WAS THROWN OFF.  HE WAS TRANSPORTED BY HELICOPTER TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL.

FIRE BROKE OUT EARLY SUNDAY AT A CABIN ON BIGCREEK ROAD IN MANN TOWNSHIP, BEDFORD COUNTY.  ONE FIREFIGHTER WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HEAT EXHAUSTION. THE CABIN WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED BY THE FIRE.

JOHNSTOWN POLICE FOUND MORE THAN 17-THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF HEROIN INSIDE AN APARTMENT AT BUILDING 50 OF THE OAKHURST HOMES ON SATURDAY.  JACOB MCDONALD OF PITTSBURGH WAS TAKEN TO JAIL AFTER HE COULD NOT GIVE PROPER IDENTIFICATION.  COPS WERE INITIALLY CALLED TO BUILDING 50 FOR A BURGLARY NEXT DOOR TO WHERE MCDONALD WAS STAYING.  HE WAS ALSO CARRYING 28-HUNDRED DOLLARS IN CASH  AND MCDONALD IS CURRENTLY OUT ON BAIL FOR A DRUG CHARGE OUT OF MARYLAND.
