STATE POLICE IN SOMERSET COUNTY HAVE MADE A MAJOR DRUG ARREST … FINDING ONE MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF HEROIN IN A PITTSBURGH MAN’S CAR.  THE SUSPECT … WARREN GREEN … WAS STOPPED ON THE TURNPIKE IN SOMERSET TOWNSHIP ON FRIDAY FOR SPEEDING … AND THAT’S WHEN POLICE FOUND THE BRICKS OF HEROIN.  THE SUSPECT IS NOW IN JAIL ON A 750-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.

IN FAYETTE COUNTY … THE DRIVER WHO DIED IN AN A-T-V ACCIDENT SATURDAY HAS NOW BEEN IDENTIFIED AS 20-YEAR-OLD JOSEPH FOSTER.   AUTHORITIES SAY FOSTER DIED OF HEAD AND CHEST INJURIES AFTER CRASHING HIS VEHICLE SATURDAY IN A WOODED AREA IN CONNELLSVILLE.  FOSTER'S 11-YEAR-OLD PASSENGER WAS AIRLIFTED TO CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN PITTSBURGH FOR TREATMENT AND OBSERVATION.  THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.

A MISSING GIRL FROM CLARION COUNTY IS SAFE AND SOUND AND AWAITING A RETURN TO PENNSYLVANIA FROM SOUTH DAKOTA.  THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD ALEXANDRIA SEWELL WAS FOUND NEAR THE NEBRASKA BORDER SATURDAY WITH 31-YEAR-OLD JOSHUA BAKER.  BAKER IS FACING CHARGES FOR KIDNAPPING, ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE POLICE, AND RELATED OFFENSES.

STATE POLICE AND THE SOMERSET COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY WILL HOLD A PRESS CONFERENCE THIS AFTERNOON TO DISCUSS FINDING MORE THAN 1 MILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF HEROIN DURING A ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP ALONG THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE IN SOMERSET TOWNSHIP.  ON FRIDAY, TROOPERS PULLED OVER 27 YEAR OLD WARREN GREEN THE 4TH OF PITTSBURGH FOR SPEEDING AND DISCOVERED 1-THOUSAND BRICKS OF HEROIN IN HIS CAR.  GREEN IS JAILED ON 750-THOUSAND DOLLARS BAIL.

MORE THAN 300 PEOPLE STAGED A RALLY SUNDAY AFTERNOON OUTSIDE GRICE GUN SHOP IN CLEARFIELD IN SUPPORT OF THEIR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS.   STATE REPRESENTATIVES MATT GABLER AND TOMMY SANKEY ATTENDED ALONG WITH CONGRESSMAN GLENN THOMPSON.   A COUPLE OF STATES HAVE ALREADY PASSED GUN CONTROL MEASURES AND A NEW BILL HAS BEEN INTRODUCED IN THE PENNSYLVANIA ASSEMBLY TO BAN THE SALE OF MAGAZINE CLIPS CARRYING MORE THAN 10 ROUNDS AS WELL AS AN ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN AND STRICTER BACKGROUND CHECKS.

ARTHUR STIFFLER TURNED HIMSELF INTO JOHNSTOWN POLICE SUNDAY MORNING AND ADMITTED THAT HE’S THE MAN WHO HELD UP A PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVER TUESDAY NIGHT IN THE MOXHAM SECTION OF TOWN.  A PHONY ORDER WAS CALLED IN TO THE DOMINO'S PIZZA…AND WHEN THE DRIVER SHOWED UP…STIFFLER ROBBED HER.   HE’S IN THE CAMBRIA COUNTY JAIL ON 20-THOUSAND DOLLARS STRAIGHT CASH BAIL.
