First Superman Comic Book Found

A remodeler in Minnesota will have some more money in the bank after stumbling on a rare comic in the walls of a home.  According to the "Minneapolis Star Tribune," David Gonzalez was removing newspaper that was used to insulate a wall when he found a copy of the 1938 Action Comics Number One.  The issue is the first to feature the Superman character.  Gonzalez says he "knew it was worth money" when he found it, although at the time he "had no idea how much."  So far, the comic has fetched bids in excess of 113-thousand dollars on the auction website ComicConnect.com.  Recently, another copy of the issue sold for more than two-million dollars.  However, that copy was in much better condition than Gonzalez's, which was given a condition rating of only one-point-five out of ten.
