Seems its not always what you eat, but when you eat. A new study suggests eating lunch as your main meal before 3pm could help you lose weight.
A new study in the International Journal of Obesity states that 420 overweight men and women were monitored while restricting their caloric intake to 1,400 a day. Researchers found that on average, those who ate lunch early in the day lost 22 pounds, while those who eat later lost 17 pounds. The participants were from Spain. In that country the main meal is lunch.
The bottomline is that dining on a larger meal at lunch isn't a totally bad idea after all. That is if you're given enough time to have a larger lunch. Let's hit that buffet this afternoon!!!
