According to a soon-to-be published research from professors at Columbia University and the University of Pittsburgh, browsing Facebook lowers our self control. How do you say that's possible? Recently some friends in New York City were talking about Pitbull dogs when there was a misunderstanding. There was quite an arguement insuing. Eight months later those friends still aren't talking to each other. The question remains from professors...would we say these things if we were with this person face-to-face or has Facebook caused us to quickly respond without thinking first? Next time you're on Facebook please be careful what you say about Politics, Religion or Pitbulls because it could jeopardize a long friendship or cause problems at work.
