An otherwise healthy Todd Euen, 46, was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, more commonly known as AML, when abnormal blood work showed that something was wrong. He has been receiving chemotherapy and blood transfusions, including numerous units of platelets, at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh. Todd and his wife, Amy, live in Johnstown, Pa., with their daughters, Rachael and Emily, and son, Erik. Todd refereed hockey for 29 years and coaches hockey for his son Erik’s Johnstown Warrior Mite team. He has also coache tee ball and flag football. Todd also has a grandchild, Kaiden Joseph, just a few months old. Their family attends SS Gregory & Barnabas Catholic Church.
